John Pye & Sons beat off stiff competition to secure a significant disposal of John Deere ride-on mowers in September 2007 for a private client. An extensive in-house direct marketing campaign was undertaken by Pyes Professional Services department with thousands of UK golf, football & cricket clubs targetted to generate interest in the offering.
Adverts were also placed across a range of of trade magazines, helping the sale to achieve a hammer price of £263,623 - £46,000 above the recovery target set by the client.
